Geocaching is an outdoor adventure using GPS technology for a modern-day treasure hunt. To play, participants use a Geocaching app on a smartphone or a GPS device to navigate to cleverly hidden containers called geocaches.
Visit Geocaching.com and set up a free account to get started.

Thanks to a partnership with Geocaching.com, Garland has its own GeoTour! You can find a complete list of Garland History GeoTour geocaches by visiting Garland's History GeoTour on Geocashing.com.

Download the official passport (coming soon) at VisitGarland.com and record your discoveries to earn a unique Garland trackable geocoin.

Garland Campfire Tales October 22 & 29

The Garland Campfire Tales is free and open to the public. The event will be on the greenspace next to the Landmark Museum (behind the green train car).  We encourage you to bring blankets or folding chairs.  You are welcome to bring food and drink.  We will start with the stories from 6-7 p.m. and then have s’mores around the campfire from 7-8 p.m.

We look forward to seeing you, and ask that you please spread the word about this great event to your friends and family.
