Crime Watch

The Neighborhood Crime Watch Program is a program to reduce the number of residential burglaries and criminal activity in neighborhoods through citizen involvement. This can be accomplished if citizens are observant of activities in their neighborhood and will report suspicious activity to the Garland Police Department.

Forming a Neighborhood Crime Watch requires a signed application (PDF). To learn more about the Neighborhood Crime Watch Program, call your Neighborhood Police Officer at 972-485-4881.

Citizens on Patrol

The Garland Police Department’s Citizens On Patrol program is an extension of the Neighborhood Crime Watch program, and provides an opportunity for citizens to take an active role in crime prevention in their neighborhood. An application (PDF) is required for this program also.
